The ideal candidate will have a strong background in release management, with a proven track record of successfully managing software releases in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can coordinate across multiple teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of software products. **Responsibilities:** - Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across various environments. - Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth release processes. - Develop and maintain release management processes and best practices. - Monitor and report on release progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. - Facilitate release planning meetings and ensure all teams are aligned on release goals. - Implement and manage release automation tools and processes. - Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Continuously improve release processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Act as a point of contact for all release-related inquiries and issues. **Mandatory Skills:** - Proven experience in release management, specifically in a software development environment. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Experience with release management tools and automation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Preferred Skills**: - Experience working with travel industry software. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. - Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices. - Experience in managing cross-functional teams. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 10-15 years of experience in release management or related roles. Relevant certifications in project management or release management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) are a plus.
