**Job Title:** Remote Desktop Engineer **Experience:** 3+ years **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Remote Desktop Engineer to design, implement, and support virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and remote access solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with platforms such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop, and a strong understanding of end-user computing environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, deploy, and maintain Remote Desktop / VDI environments. - Manage and support platforms such as Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Citrix Virtual Apps Desktops, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). - Monitor system performance, availability, and security of virtual desktop environments. - Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to remote access, connectivity, and performance. - Configure and manage user profiles, policies, and access controls. - Support patching, upgrades, and system maintenance activities. - Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure seamless operations. - Optimize VDI performance, scalability, and user experience. - Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. **Required Skills Qualifications:** - 3+ years of experience in Remote Desktop / VDI engineering or support. - Hands-on experience with RDS, Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy. - Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancing). - Experience with user profile management (FSLogix, roaming profiles, etc.). - Ability to troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues. - Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication skills in English (written and verbal). **Preferred Qualifications:** - Certifications such as Microsoft, Citrix (CCA/CCP), VMware (VCP). - Experience with cloud-based VDI solutions (Azure/AWS). - Knowledge of security best practices in remote access environments. - Scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation. **Key Competencies:** - Analytical thinking and troubleshooting - Attention to detail - Customer-focused mindset - Ability to work in a collaborative environment
