Location: Navi Mumbai, MH, IN Areas of Work: Research & Technology Job Id: 15259 **External Job Description** **Job description** **Role** – Research Executive N- Emulsion **Job Purpose** The Executive – N will be responsible for supporting emulsion polymerization activities, including laboratory-scale synthesis, plant trials, process optimization, and quality evaluation of polymer emulsions. The role requires strong fundamentals in **organic chemistry and polymer science** , with hands-on execution capability and adherence to safety and quality systems. **Primary Responsibilities** **Business Responsibility Areas** **(Please detail out at least 8-10 responsibility areas)** **Key Performance Indicators** - Formulation of emulsion polymers and additives for decorative paints. Understanding of polymer synthesis and organic chemistry is essential. - Processing and testing of the experimental designs as per test protocol defined - Characterization of developed polymers and their preliminary evaluation in paint prototype - Testing of benchmark samples - Evaluation of alternate RMs in the existing product formulation for suitability - Support to plant wrt standardization of the product at PEL/ OPC - Maintaining appropriate and updated records of experiments in lab note book & Optiva - Co-ordination with Paint development laboratory Completion of all the activities assigned within stipulated timelines and maintaining clear records of activities in the lab register as well as Optiva (digital register).
