Rf System Engineer

Job description

*Background:* *The Engineers will work with System RF team members very closely on developing and optimizing RF automation test systems used on products, and will work closely with the contract manufacturer along with RF teams at to drive design validation, automation, data analysis and related activities that help achieve manufacturing goals with highest quality.* *Scope of Services* - *Develop algorithms and scalable software in C/C++ and Python to control the device under test (DUT) and test equipment.* - *Validation and optimization of RF system level performance.* - *Analyze data in conjunction with cross functional teams to identify and root cause RF issues.* - *Triage issues, and perform log analysis, and provide recommendation for issues resolution* *Station DRI Engineers Requirements* - *Good fundamentals or relevant experience in C/C++, or a similar programming language.* - *Experience or understanding of Cellular standards (e.g. LTE, 5G)* - *Good knowledge of RF fundamentals and communications theory.* - *Good understanding and working experience with RF metrics and impairment around conducted and antenna measurements (e.g. EVM, ACLR, VSWR, S-Parameters, TRP, etc.)* - *Basic knowledge of RF/Wireless lab equipment.* - *Familiarity with data processing and statistical tools.* **Preferred candidate profile** The basic Expectation is that any candidate should have worked in 2 areas: 1. RF fundamentals/Cellular technology like RAN, O-RAN 2. Hands-on SW programming knowledge (C/C++ and/or Python)
