We're hiring for **LTIMINDTREE** for the role **RPG Developer for more quires kindly reach out - mail23@dayspring-consultants.com** **Role: RPG Developer** **Location: Bangalore** **Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days only** **Exp: 7 to 11 Years** **Mandatory Skills : AS400 - RPG, RPGILE** Job description POSITION SUMMARY The RPG Developer 4 is a subject matter expert in at least one system or application providing analysis and design work in programming Creates flow charts for technical and process analysis so that the project team can understand the data flow Technically leads and mentors other developers to produce errorfree development Effectively communicates with business users and suggests process improvements configuration changes day to day user activities write pseudo technical documents for super users Analyzes issues with a quick and long term solution Utilizes team work on quick solution while still validating the long term solution Supports business applications through resolving trouble with applications facilitating changes to applications through migrations and supports other IT Organizations in providing support to the business community Serves as a contributor and member to project teams in the applications area Completes administration tasks such as status reporting and documentation Supports the business community in monitoring and enhancing the performance of business applications including applications that are key components to the success of our business ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS o Creates flow charts for technical analysis so that the project team can understand the data flow Participates in formal and informal code review and assist team members and works with the QA team to facilitate quality assurance efforts Performs analysis and design for programs and learns and adapts to new applications languages and techniques o Supports the development maintenance and support activities in keeping applications systems stable and functional in addition to increasing functionality for the user community Serves as a contributor and member to project teams in the applications area Completes administration tasks such as status reporting and documentation o Technically leads and mentors other developers to produce errorfree development o Provides Proactive Solutions Utilizes team work on quick solution while still validating the long term solution o Supports the business community in monitoring and enhancing the performance of business o Applications including applications that are key components to the success of the business o Participates in the 247 on call rotation o ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCEQUALIFICATIONS o Minimum Degree Required Bachelors degree o Experience 4 years KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY o RPG ILEFree Form development experience preferred o iSeries experience required DBU Hawkeye RDi SEU o SQL experience required o DB2i database experience preferred o MQ experience preferred o GoAnywhere FTP experience preferred o XML experience preferred o Team leadership skills preferred o Strong analytical skills required o Strong written and verbal communication skills required o Mentoring skills preferred Skills Mandatory Skills : AS400 - RPG, RPGILE Good to Have Skills : MS SQL Server Regards Divya
