Safety Officer

Job description

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a responsible and proactive Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures. - Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments. - Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and standards. - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports. - Conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs. - Maintain records related to safety audits, incidents, and compliance. - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure corrective and preventive actions. - Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and ensure availability. - Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage safety certifications. - Promote continuous improvement in safety practices. **Qualifications :** - Advanced Diploma in Fire & Safety from CLI / RLI preferred - ADIS Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
