As we march together towards our core vision of Transforming for Good, we have an exciting opportunity for transformational leaders to join us and accelerate our growth journey. **Key Responsibilities:** • Ensure detailed understanding of Safety & ESG requirements at all the location. • Direct critical risk evaluation of existing status of safety at all the location. Ensuring availability of all Mechanical equipment’s to meet the BP targets. • Identify safety risks/lapses in safety protocols, practices, and recommend appropriate interventions in compliance with Statutory & ISO requirements. • Drive zero harm and decrease in leading indicators at all the units by fostering culture of safety. • Lead efficient MIS management by driving software development and digitization initiatives. • Lead investigation of any incidents that may occur at any location and prepare detailed and accurate incident reports regarding the same. • Lead mapping process to identify the kind and level of training pertaining to Safety & BRSR required at each of the units. • Lead benchmarking of HZL’s safety standards and practices with respect to leading global companies and collaborating with them to share best practices pertaining to safety. • Liaison with external safety experts and trainers to administer specialized training programs. • Drive internal and external safety audits by engaging and coordinating with auditors like VSAP, ISO, BRSR, etc. **Desired Attributes:** • 10+ years of relevant experience. •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Fire & Safety) / Master’s degree in the field of Industrial Safety (Preferable) •Experience in mining and smelting industry.
