**Senior ABAP Consultant** **10 - 12 Years** **Bengaluru** **Mandatory Skills** SAP ABAP, SAP ABAP HANA, Cds Views, Odata, OO ABAP **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced **Senior ABAP Consultant** with strong hands-on development experience, technical expertise and the ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions across SAP Financial modules, including **FI, In-House Cash (IHC), Banking, and Treasury** . **Key Responsibilities** - Manage ABAP development activities, ensuring delivery within timelines and budget - Design, develop, and review RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) - Collaborate with functional teams to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions - Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical solutioning - Perform code reviews and enforce adherence to project standards and advanced ABAP best practices - Estimate development efforts and validate technical designs - Engage and handle in multiple deliverables, projects, and change requests independently - Mentor and guide junior team members and coordinate across technical teams - Support deployment, testing, and post-go-live activities - Take ownership of assigned developments and deliver independently **Required Experience & Skills** - Strong hands-on experience in **ABAP development** , including RICEF objects - Proven experience in: - At least **1 SAP S/4HANA implementation project** - At least **2 SAP ECC implementation projects** , along with support experience - Deep expertise in the following areas: **Reports** - Classical, Interactive, and ALV Reports (preferably ALV using OO methodology) **Interfaces** - BAPI, BDC, and flat file interfaces - File handling on Application Server and Presentation Server - ALE/EDI and IDoc implementation and support (Must) **Enhancements** - BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, Enhancement Spots **Core ABAP & HANA** - Data Dictionary concepts - Performance tuning using ABAP on HANA techniques - ABAP 7.5 standards and best practices - Strong expertise in **Object-Oriented ABAP** **Advanced Development** - CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services (mandatory) **Functional & Cross-Module Expertise** - Strong experience designing complex technical solutions involving: - SAP FI - In-House Cash (IHC) - Banking interfaces - Treasury processes **Good to Have** - Experience with **SAP Fiori/UI5** - Exposure to **SAP BTP** , BPA, and Workflow - Experience in SAP IHC, Banking and Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) **Soft Skills** - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to write detailed technical specifications from functional requirements - Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple parallel workstreams
