**SAP APO - Consultant** **Job Function** - Technology **Role** - Consultant **Desired Skills** - SAP APO/PP/PPDS **Job Description** - Gather functional/business requirements from users and sponsors. - Translate business requirements to system solutions within SAPs Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) system, the SAP ERP module PP, and support of SCM Staging process. - Analyze and provide effective problem-solving for business and user support, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed. - Ensure all demand flows from market to supplier using the correct supply chain flow and lead times according to business requirements, including coordination and implementation of new flows. - Oversee the work of outside consultants and more junior SAP developers within the team. - Follow a modified project waterfall methodology combined with agile methodology within projects. - 7+ years of experience as a domain expert in SAP SCM. - Good knowledge of Allocation, BOP, and Rule Maintenance in GATP, and CTM in SNP. - Experience with CIF Integration Models for Master and Transaction Data transfer between ECC and APO. - Expertise in SAP Configuration of APO DP Functionality, including: - Configuration of Master Planning Object Structures - Generating & Changing Characteristic Value Combinations (CVC) - Data Realignment - Planning Books and Planning Areas - Statistical Forecasts - Batch Jobs/Planning Jobs - Background Mass Processing - Time Bucket Profile and Forecast Profile - Planning Version - Life Cycle Management - Like Modelling - Macros, Alerts, and Process Chains
