Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Deliver high quality and ensure stable operations of SAP BASIS systems - Expert in troubleshooting and resolution of critical incidents/outages - Identify, manage, track and report Incident/Outage trend, create a data-driven plan, focused on delivering the best customer support, while identifying opportunities to build scalable processes - Seek opportunities to streamline process and optimize the outage resolution time - Effectively resolve/drive resolution for Critical Incident & Problem Management areas - Work closely with different units of ECS, Product Support etc. to execute projects - Must feel comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic and flexible environment - Proactively share knowledge and expertise to help others by creating KBA and knowledge roll-out - Support the management in strategic directions - Contribute ideas to help towards the vision and execution of teams in ECS Last line of Defense - Expert in SAP BASIS - ABAP, JAVA and Non-Netweaver applications - Expert in handling incidents and outages and ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work under pressure - Ability to Own, Lead and coordinate operational tasks, escalations, process improvements - Quick learner to learn and become an SME of technologies like SAP Power Designer, SAP Cloud Connector in short duration - Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems in a hosting environment - Knowledge on Hyperscalers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) - Positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
