SAP Basis -Senior Engineer

Job description

**Core Responsibilities** - **System Administration & Maintenance:** Install, configure, and maintain SAP NetWeaver and underlying environments. Handle upgrades, kernel updates, and support packages. - **Database & Cloud Management:** Administer **SAP HANA**, Oracle, or MS SQL. Experience in cloud or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly preferred. - **Environment Lifecycles:** Execute system copies, client administration, and refreshes. Manage Change and Transport System (CTS/CTS+) landscapes. - **Performance Tuning & Monitoring:** Monitor system health, background jobs, and implement tuning strategies using SAP Solution Manager. Provide L2/L3 root-cause analysis. - **Backup & Security:** Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and maintain security/authorization compliance. - **Team Mentorship:** Coach and mentor junior Basis engineers and handle client escalations. **Expected Qualifications & Skills** - **Experience:** 7 to 12 years of hands-on technical SAP Basis administration. - **Databases & OS:** Deep knowledge of SAP HANA, Oracle, and OS platforms such as Linux/Unix and Windows. - **Soft Skills:** Problem-solving under pressure, excellent communication, and readiness to collaborate with international teams. - **Experience- 7 -12 Years** - **Location-Bangalore**
