Job description

**Role & responsibilities** SAP BO Development & Support - Design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects Universes using **UDT (Universe Design Tool)** and **IDT (Information Design Tool)**. - Develop and support **Web Intelligence (WebI)** reports and dashboards. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting and Universe solutions. - Modify existing Universes and reports based on business needs. - Create and optimize data models, joins, contexts, aliases, derived tables, and aggregate awareness. Reporting & Analytics - Develop complex WebI reports with prompts, variables, filters, calculations, and drill-down capabilities. - Perform report validation, testing, and deployment. - Troubleshoot report performance and data issues. - Support business users with report enhancements and issue resolution. Database & SQL - Write and optimize SQL queries against databases such as: - Oracle - SQL Server - Teradata (if applicable) - SAP HANA (good to have) - Analyze query performance and implement tuning recommendations. - Work closely with database teams to optimize report execution. Incident & Production Support - Provide L2/L3 support for SAP BO environments. - Handle incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and changes within SLA timelines. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes. - Monitor reporting jobs and scheduled reports. Data Warehouse & ETL Coordination - Coordinate with ETL and Data Warehouse teams for data availability and validation. - Understand source-to-target mappings and data lineage. - Support data quality validation activities. ITIL & Governance - Follow Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes. - Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles. - Participate in CAB meetings and change implementation activities. **Preferred candidate profile** - SAP BusinessObjects (BO) 4.x - Web Intelligence (WebI) - Universe Designer Tool (UDT) - Information Design Tool (IDT) - SQL (Oracle / SQL Server) - BO Report Development & Support - Production Support Experience - ITIL Process Knowledge
