Job Description HPE s acquisition of Juniper Networks is one of the most significant moves in the company s history, bringing two networking leaders together to build HPE Networking, with the ambition of creating the best networking business on the planet. This role sits at the center of that effort as part of the Lead-to-Cash (L2C) program, responsible for unifying quoting, ordering, and fulfillment across the combined HPE and Juniper networking portfolios onto a single platform, replacing fragmented legacy systems with one seamless, scalable experience for sellers, partners, and customers worldwide. As part of a fast-moving, multi-year transformation, the team will stabilize near-term operations, migrate core platforms, onboard businesses and suppliers globally, and build new capabilities from the ground up. You will work closely with business leaders, IT architects, suppliers, and partner stakeholders on a program with direct executive visibility, solving integration challenges at a scale few companies ever attempt. What you ll do: Workstream-Specific Details Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP BRIM Convergent Charging (CC) and Convergent Mediation (CM) within the L2C landscape, covering usage mediation, rating, and charging for subscription and software offers across the combined HPE and Juniper portfolios. • Translate subscription, consumption, and entitlement requirements into CC charge plans, rating logic, pricing structures, and CM mediation flows, and document them as approved solution designs. • Design and govern integration between CC/CM and Convergent Invoicing (CI), Subscription Order Management (SOM), FI-CA, CPQ/CRM, and upstream usage sources, including high-volume usage file and event interfaces. • Define the usage data model and mediation rules - decoding, mapping, enrichment, aggregation, duplicate detection, and error handling - with reprocessing and reconciliation controls. • Lead design reviews and architectural decision records, resolve cross-workstream design conflicts, and secure sign-off from enterprise architecture and business stakeholders. • Size the solution for throughput, latency, and scalability, and drive performance tuning and capacity planning for high-volume usage processing. • Provide technical direction to offshore configuration and development teams, review build objects against design, and resolve escalated defects. • Support SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, and hypercare, including root-cause analysis of charging and mediation issues. • Contribute to the L2C roadmap, standards, and reusable design patterns, and flag technical debt and risks early to program leadership. What you need to bring: Education And Experience Required • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; Masters degree an asset. • 10+ years of SAP delivery experience, including 5+ years hands-on with SAP BRIM / Hybris Billing in a solution architect or lead design role. • At least two full-lifecycle implementations of SAP Convergent Charging and Convergent Mediation, from design through go-live and HyperCare. • Demonstrated experience architecting subscription, consumption, and usage-based monetization for software, SaaS, or as-a-service offerings. • Experience on large-scale transformation, platform migration, or post-merger integration programs with global scope. • Experience delivering through an offshore model in partnership with onshore business and IT stakeholders. • SAP certification in BRIM, Convergent Charging, or S/4HANA preferred. Knowledge And Skills • Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP Convergent Charging: charge plans, charged item classes, rating and pricing logic, master data, prepaid and postpaid models, and CC scripting and derivations. • Deep knowledge of SAP Convergent Mediation (BRIM/Digital Route): mediation zones, collectors, decoders, mapping and ag
