SAP BTP RAP + UI5 Lead SME

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model). - Implement RAP behaviour definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing. - Build endtoend OData V4 services using RAP and integrate with UI frameworks such as Fiori Elements, UI5. - Develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem. - Integrate SAP BTP applications with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, **SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)**, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services. - Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with SAP cleancore and cloudready coding practices. - Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and DevOps teams to design secure and scalable solutions. - Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and contribute to architecture discussions. - SAP RAP (managed & unmanaged scenarios) - CDS Views, Annotations, Behaviours, Metadata Extensions - OData V4 services and Fiori Elements consumption - Experience integrating BTP applications with S/4HANA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and IAS/IPS. - Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, multitenant apps, and deployment on SAP BTP. - Experience with Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git. **Preferred candidate profile** - Will be responsible for E2E Implementation/Support with SAP UI5 , FIORI knowledge. - Good understanding on UI 5 and restful ABAP application programming model. - Good communication skills, stakeholder management, team player. - Java, Git Hub, CI/CD, good communication skills.
