SAP CPI- Functional Analyst

Job description

A SAP CPI Functional Analyst at **Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)** bridges the gap between client business requirements and the technical integration team. They are responsible for gathering requirements, translating business logic into integration specifications, and ensuring seamless data flows across SAP and non-SAP environments. **Core Responsibilities** - **Requirement Gathering & Design:** Interact with business stakeholders to map integration needs, define custom Integration Flows (iFlows), and ensure standard SAP functionality is utilized where possible. - **Functional Specifications:** Create detailed blueprints and functional specifications for technical teams to build, modify, or extend APIs, web services, and message mappings. - **Testing & Validation:** Oversee and execute system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, and defect resolution before go-live. - **Support & Governance:** Provide L2/L3 functional support, resolve tickets, and maintain up-to-date documentation on integration processes and compliance. - **Cross-module Coordination:** Act as the liaison between the functional domain (e.g., Finance, HR/SuccessFactors, Supply Chain) and the technical integration team. **Desired Qualifications & Skills** - **Experience Level:** Typically requires 5 to 9 years of relevant IT/SAP experience, ideally having completed 2-3 end-to-end implementations. - **Integration Expertise:** Solid grasp of cloud-to-cloud and hybrid integration architectures, API design, and message protocols like REST, SOAP, OData, and IDocs. - **Soft Skills:** Excellent business communication, client-handling skills, and strong logical/analytical thinking. **Experience- 5-9 Years** **Location- Mumbai**
