A **SAP ERP Financial Accounting Consultant** at **Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)** **translates complex finance and controlling business needs into configurable system designs**. The role involves configuring SAP FI/CO modules, performing cross-functional integrations, and delivering end-to-end implementation and rollout support. **Core Responsibilities** - **Module Configuration:** Hands-on setup and customization (via SPRO) of core FI components: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA). - **Controlling (CO) Setup:** Managing Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders. - **Business Requirements:** Conducting gap analysis, gathering client requirements, and mapping financial operations to SAP system processes. - **Cross-Module Integration:** Ensuring flawless integration between SAP FI/CO and other enterprise modules like Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD). - **Testing & Documentation:** Preparing Functional Specifications (FS) for ABAP teams, executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and drafting configuration or Knowledge Transfer (KT) documents. - **Compliance & Reporting:** Supporting month-end/year-end closing activities, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). **Requirements & Qualifications** - **Experience Level:** Typically 7 to 12+ years of hands-on IT experience in SAP FICO with at least 1 or 2 full life-cycle implementation projects. - **Education:** Minimum 15 years of full-time education (10th, 12th, and a Bachelors degree in Commerce/Finance or a related field). - **Technical Skills:** Deep knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 and **SAP S/4HANA Finance**, alongside proficiency in Automatic Account Determination and Electronic Bank Statements (EBS) - **Experience- 7-12 Years** - **Location- New Delhi**
