We collaborate with our customers to co-create solutions that drive enterprise-wide digitalization while actively working to address social issues and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). **Job Title: SAP FICO RAR - Senior Functional Consultant - 10169** **Shift Timing: 12:30PM to 9:30PM (IST)** **Experience: 8-10 Years** **Locations: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Noida, Hyderabad.** **Job Description – Senior SAP FICO RAR Consultant** **Roles** - Lead the SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) function within the FICO domain - Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for revenue recognition processes aligned with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 - Drive design, implementation, and optimization of RAR processes in S/4HANA landscape - Work closely with Finance (RTR), OTC, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP solutions - Provide leadership and guidance to junior consultants and support teams - Ensure stability and performance of RAR processes in AMS and project environments - Act as the key interface between business users, SAP functional teams, and technical teams **Responsibilities** **Functional & Solutioning** - Analyze and design end-to-end revenue accounting processes - Configure and manage: - - Revenue Accounting Contracts (RAC) - Performance Obligations (POBs) - Revenue Accounting Items (RAIs) - Ensure accurate revenue recognition (event-based, time-based, PoC methods) - Handle integration with SAP SD, BRIM, and external feeder systems **Implementation & Upgrade** - Lead RAR implementation / rollout / migration activities (e.g., S/4HANA upgrades) - Support transition from Classic to Optimized RAR (OCM) - Perform system configuration, testing, and deployment - Validate functional impacts during upgrades and ensure compliance **AMS / Production Support** - Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets related to RAR - Perform root cause analysis for issues like: - - Revenue posting discrepancies - Contract inconsistencies - RAI processing failures - Coordinate with SAP for OSS incident resolution - Support month-end and year-end financial close activities **Testing & Documentation** - Prepare and review: - - Functional Specifications (FS) - Test scenarios and scripts (SIT/UAT) - SOPs and process documentation - Ensure proper regression testing during releases and upgrades **Stakeholder Management** - Conduct workshops and requirement gathering sessions - Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership - Support audit readiness and compliance requirements - Deliver KT sessions and support transition activities **Continuous Improvement** - Identify automation and process improvement opportunities - Optimize performance of RAR processes and reporting - Recommend best practices aligned with SAP standard capabilities **Experience & Skills (Optional to include in your JD)** - 8+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP FICO and RAR - Hands-on experience in S/4HANA RAR (preferred) - Strong understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 - Experience in AMS + project implementation environments - Good knowledge of integration with SD / BRIM Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Relocation Supported: No Visa Sponsorship Approved: No At Fujitsu, we are committed to an inclusive recruitment process that values the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all applicants.
