**Key Responsibilities** **1. SAP Fiori / UI5 Development** - Design and develop **SAP Fiori applications** (Standard & Custom Apps) - Build responsive applications using **SAPUI5 / OpenUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS** - Extend standard Fiori apps using **SAP Fiori Elements & freestyle UI5** **2. Architecture & Design** - Define **UI/UX architecture standards** and best practices - Design scalable Fiori app architecture for S/4HANA systems - Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and usability **3. Fiori Launchpad Management** - Configure and manage **Fiori Launchpad (FLP)** - Maintain catalogs, groups, roles, and tiles - Implement personalization and role-based access **4. OData & Backend Integration** - Develop and consume **OData services (Gateway)** - Integrate Fiori apps with backend SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) - Collaborate with ABAP team for service development and enhancements **5. S/4HANA Implementation Support** - Support **Greenfield / Brownfield S/4HANA implementations** - Enable Fiori apps for business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) - Perform Fiori app activation and configuration **6. Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting** - Monitor and optimize Fiori app performance - Debug UI5 apps and resolve frontend/backend issues - Conduct root cause analysis for production issues **7. Security & Roles** - Work with security teams for **Fiori roles and authorization setup** - Ensure secure access via SAP Gateway and FLP **8. Team Leadership** - Lead and mentor a team of Fiori developers - Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards - Coordinate with stakeholders, functional teams, and architects **9. Testing & Quality Assurance** - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support - Ensure high-quality delivery with minimal defects **Required Skills** **Technical Skills** - Strong expertise in: - SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, OpenUI5 - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery - Experience in: - SAP Gateway & OData services - Fiori Launchpad (FLP) configuration - SAP Web IDE / BAS (Business Application Studio) - Knowledge of: - ABAP (for debugging and integration) - CDS Views, AMDP (preferred) - REST APIs & integration concepts **Tools & Technologies** - SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) / Web IDE - Git / Version control systems - SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM - Browser debugging tools (Chrome DevTools) **Leadership & Domain Skills** - Strong communication and stakeholder management - Experience in **global delivery models** - Domain knowledge in: - Manufacturing - Supply Chain / Procurement / Inventory - Finance (nice to have) **Preferred Qualifications** - SAP Fiori/UI5 certification - Experience with **SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)** - Exposure to **Workflow Management, SAP Mobile Services** - Knowledge of accessibility and UX design standards **Key Deliverables** - High-quality, scalable Fiori applications - Improved user experience across SAP systems - Timely delivery of UI enhancements and projects - Stable and optimized Fiori landscape **Nice to Have (Simpson Strong-Tie Context)** - Experience supporting **manufacturing business processes** - Exposure to integration with **MES, PLM, or warehouse systems** - Experience in large-scale **S/4HANA deployments**
