**Job Summary** - SAP IS-U ABAP Consultant with 3-4 years of experience in the Electricity Utility industry. - The ideal candidate should possess strong SAP ABAP development expertise with hands-on experience in SAP IS-U FICA developments and integrations across IS-U modules. - The candidate should have experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments and be capable of delivering technical solutions that support utility business processes, customer billing, collections, and financial operations. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, test, and support SAP IS-U custom developments with a focus on FICA processes. - Analyze business requirements and convert functional specifications into technical solutions. - Develop and enhance SAP IS-U applications, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows. - Design and develop OData Services for SAP and external system integrations. - Develop and consume REST APIs for seamless integration with enterprise applications. - Build scalable applications using Object-Oriented ABAP programming principles. - Implement enhancements using BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and BAPIs. - Develop Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for utility business processes. - Perform SAP HANA-based development and optimize database-intensive programs. - Support SIT, UAT, deployment activities, and production issue resolution. - Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to provide effective technical solutions. - Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices. **Required Technical Skills** - SAP IS-U ABAP Development - Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS-U ABAP development. - Experience in utility-specific developments and enhancements. - Understanding of end-to-end Electricity Utility business processes. - Hands-on experience in SAP IS-U FICA Development - Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FICA) - Payment Processing - Dunning Processes - Collections Management - Security Deposits - Write-Offs and Adjustments - Installment Plans - Account Determination - Correspondence and FICA-related reporting - FICA Enhancements, BAdIs, Events, and Custom Programs **SAP ABAP Technical Expertise** - Object-Oriented ABAP Programming - Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV) - BAdI, BAPI, User Exits, Enhancements - Function Modules and Classes - Data Dictionary Objects - Debugging and Performance Optimization - Integration & API Development - OData Service Development, SAP Gateway Services - REST API Development and Integration - SOAP/REST Web Services, JSON/XML Processing - Interface Development and Troubleshooting - Smart Forms, Adobe Forms - SAP HANA & S/4HANA Optimized ABAP Development - CDS Views - SAP S/4HANA Development Concepts - SAP IS-U Module Integration Experience **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in SAP S/4HANA Utilities implementation or migration projects. - Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway technologies. - Experience working on utility digital transformation initiatives. - SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP (Added Advantage). - SAP IS-U Certification - (Added Advantage).
