**Job Summary** - SAP IS-U DM/EDM Consultant with 3- 4 years of experience in the Electricity Utility industry. - The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP IS-U Device Management (DM) and Energy Data Management (EDM), including configuration, development support, and integration with other SAP IS-U modules. - The candidate should be capable of interacting with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, proposing effective solutions, and supporting end-to-end utility business processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze business requirements and design SAP IS-U DM/EDM solutions aligned with utility industry best practices. - Configure and support SAP IS-U Device Management (DM) and Energy Data Management (EDM) functionalities. - Conduct workshops and interact with business users to gather and validate requirements. - Proactively recommend SAP standard solutions and process improvements. - Support development activities by preparing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams. - Perform testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Production Deployment support. - Troubleshoot and resolve functional and integration issues across IS-U modules. - Support implementation, enhancement, rollout, and production support projects. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. **Required Functional Expertise** - SAP IS-U Device Management (DM) - Device Categories and Device Types - Device Installation, Removal, Replacement and Exchanges - Meter Reading Processes - Register Management - Technical Master Data Management - Equipment and Functional Location Integration - Device Lifecycle Management - SAP IS-U Energy Data Management (EDM) - Profile Management - Interval Data Processing - Load Profiles - Consumption Forecasting - Validation, Estimation and Editing (VEE) Processes - Energy Data Aggregation and Settlement Support - Meter Data Management Concepts **Configuration & Development** - Hands-on configuration experience in SAP IS-U DM and EDM. - Experience working with custom enhancements and developments. - Ability to prepare Functional Specifications and work closely with ABAP development teams. - Knowledge of debugging, interfaces, and technical troubleshooting. - Exposure to SAP HANA-based developments and performance optimization. **Strong understanding and hands-on experience integrating SAP IS-U DM/EDM with:** - SAP IS-U Customer Service (CS) - SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing - SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) - Meter Reading and Billing Processes - Master Data and End-to-End Utility Business Processes **SAP S/4HANA Experience** - Experience working in SAP S/4HANA Utilities environments. - Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Utilities architecture and business processes. - Experience supporting migration, transformation, or implementation activities in S/4HANA projects. **Desired Competencies** - Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to independently conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and presentation abilities. - Ability to proactively identify business challenges and recommend suitable SAP solutions. - Team player with the ability to work across functional and technical teams. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in SAP S/4HANA Utilities Implementation projects. - End-to-end implementation, rollout, or support project experience in SAP IS-U. - Exposure to Smart Metering and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects. - SAP S/4HANA Utilities Certification (Added Advantage).
