**Job Position:** SAP Master Data Migration Specialist Data **Location:** Bangalore / Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore **Experience:** 5 to 10 years **Job Summary:** - We are seeking a hands-on SAP Master Data Migration Specialist to lead the migration of External Master Data and Production Master Data. - The role requires deep ALE/IDoc and interface experience, strong knowledge of master-data tools (LSMW, BAPI, BDC, flat file interfaces), and proven experience in at least one end-to-end implementation. - The successful candidate will plan, develop, execute and validate migration activities while coordinating with technical and business stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and performant data transfers. - Key Responsibilities: - Lead the migration of External Master Data and Production Master Data, including planning, execution, validation, and cutover activities. - Design and develop data migration solutions using LSMW (all objects — preference for Vendor Master Data), BAPI, BDC, and flat file interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server). - Implement performance-tuning techniques for large volume migrations to meet SLAs and minimize business disruption. - Configure, develop and troubleshoot ALE/IDoc solutions: RFC settings, Ports, Partner Profiles, Message Types IDoc Types. - Implement Change Pointer method for ALE and develop custom IDocs as required; use and enhance standard IDocs and apply NACE settings; reprocess IDocs and resolve error conditions. - Manage Business Partner (BP) and CVI integration tasks: perform BP-related transactions, maintain relevant BP tables, and ensure correct synchronization between BP and traditional master records. - Provide integration expertise across MM, SD, FI and CO modules to ensure master data consistency and business process alignment. - Implement and maintain interfaces using Web Services and APIs in addition to IDocs, coordinate software component integration and interface deployment. - Support development/extension work using BADI, User Exits and Customer Exits as needed (where applicable). - Maintain configuration and requirement management artifacts; produce clear technical and functional documentation for migration processes and results. - Plan and execute testing cycles (unit, integration, regression), coordinate UAT, and validate migrated data with business owners. - Participate in rollout and implementation projects, support at least one or two full end-to-end implementations with hands-on delivery. - Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Minimum 5 years’ hands-on SAP experience with proven expertise in master data migration and integration. - Demonstrable knowledge of MM, SD, FI and CO business processes and integration points. • At least one full end-to-end SAP implementation, experience in rollout projects is highly desirable. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
