**Job Title: SAP MM + SD Consultant** **Experience:** 3–15 Years **Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced **SAP MM + SD Consultant** with 3–15 years of experience in implementing, supporting, upgrading, and enhancing SAP Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in procurement, inventory management, sales order processing, pricing, shipping, billing, and logistics execution. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, designing end-to-end SAP solutions, supporting integrations with other SAP modules, and ensuring seamless business operations across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. **Roles & Responsibilities** - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Distribution, and Logistics processes. - Participate in end-to-end SAP MM and SD implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, migration, and support projects. - Configure SAP MM and SD modules based on business requirements and SAP best practices. - Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend optimized business processes to improve operational efficiency. - Prepare functional specifications, business process documents, configuration documents, test cases, and user manuals. - Configure and support key SAP MM processes including Procurement, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Inventory Management, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Vendor Management, and Material Master. - Configure and support SAP SD processes including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Delivery Processing, Billing, Returns, Credit Management, and Customer Master. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including SAP FI, PP, WM/EWM, QM, PM, and ABAP developers for seamless business process integration. - Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, workflows, and data migration. - Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and support defect resolution. - Support data migration activities including master data, transactional data, and cutover planning. - Provide production support by troubleshooting functional issues, performing root cause analysis, and resolving incidents within SLA. - Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Inventory Management business processes. - Participate in release management, patch validation, change requests, and post-production support activities. - Conduct client workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, and user training. - Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on SAP MM and SD best practices. - Coordinate with project managers, architects, and business users to ensure timely project delivery. - Prepare effort estimates, project plans, status reports, and identify project risks with mitigation strategies. - Ensure compliance with SAP implementation methodologies, governance standards, and organizational policies. - Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA innovations, SAP Best Practices, and industry trends. **Key Skills** **SAP MM Skills** - SAP Materials Management (MM) - Procurement - Purchasing - Purchase Requisition (PR) - Purchase Order (PO) - Request for Quotation (RFQ) - Vendor Management - Source Determination - Inventory Management - Goods Receipt (GR) - Goods Issue (GI) - Invoice Verification (IV) - Material Master - Batch Management - Valuation & Account Determination - Physical Inventory - Release Strategy **SAP SD Skills** - SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) - Sales Order Processing - Quotation Management - Pricing & Condition Technique - Delivery Processing - Shipping - Billing - Returns Processing - Credit Management - Customer Master - Availability Check (ATP) - Output Determination - Intercompany Sales - Third-Party Processing - Consignment Process **Technical & Integration Skills** - SAP S/4HANA - SAP ECC - IDocs - ALE - LSMW - BAPIs - Enhancements - User Exits - BADIs - SmartForms - Adobe Forms - SAP Fiori (Preferred) - ABAP Debugging (Basic Knowledge) - Data Migration - Interfaces **Implementation Skills** - Requirement Gathering - Fit-Gap Analysis - Solution Design - Functional Configuration - Functional Documentation - SIT & UAT - Go-Live & Hypercare Support - Production Support - Incident Management - Change & Release Management - Root Cause Analysis **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - SAP MM and/or SAP SD Certification is preferred. - Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, enhancement, and support projects. - Experience working with global clients across Manufacturing, Retail, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Logistics, or Distribution industries. - Strong understanding of Procurement, Inventory Management, Sales, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, and Supply Chain business processes.
