SAP VIM and ABAP consultant

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** We are looking for a **4 to 12 years experience SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) techno-functional consultant** to design, configure, and implement invoice management solutions leveraging SAP VIM and OpenText. The candidate should have strong expertise in **invoice capture, workflow design, exception handling, and integration with SAP modules (MM, FI, S/4HANA)** as well as technical skills in **ABAP enhancements, OpenText Archive Server, and Fiori/UI5 customization** **Preferred candidate profile** **Invoice Capture & DP Processing** - **Configure and manage invoice capture solutions (OCR, ICC, DP processing).** - **Ensure seamless invoice posting and validation.** - **Handle duplicate invoice checks, tax validations, and vendor master data consistency.** **Invoice Exception Scenarios (IES) Management** - **Identify, analyze, and resolve common IES issues (price variance, quantity mismatch, missing PO).** - **Configure exception handling workflows for automatic routing and approvals.** - **Collaborate with business teams to reduce recurring exceptions and improve straight-through processing.** **/OPT/SPRO & IMG Configurations & workflows** - **Perform system configurations in SPRO/IMG for VIM processes.** - **Maintain customizing settings for workflow, DP document types, exception handling, and e-Invoicing compliance.** - **Configure OAWD & email channels and workflows for invoice approvals and escalations.** - **Set up automated notifications for pending invoices and exception alerts.** **Integration with SAP & External Systems** - **Integrate VIM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and external systems.** - **Configure IDoc processing for inbound/outbound invoice data.** - **Enable Ariba channel integration for supplier invoice collaboration.** **E-Invoicing Compliance** - **Implement e-Invoicing solutions aligned with government regulations (GST, PEPPOL, etc.).** - **Configure digital signatures, QR codes, and mandated invoice formats.** - **Ensure seamless integration with tax authorities and compliance portals.** **Solution Design & Development** - **Design and implement workflows for invoice approvals and exception handling.** - **Develop custom enhancements using ABAP and BRF+.** - **Configure OpenText Archive Server for document storage and retrieval.** **Reporting & Analytics** - **Build reports and dashboards for invoice tracking and KPIs.** **Provide insights into invoice cycle times, exception trends, and vendor performance.**
