**SCCM Patch Deployment Engineer / SCCM Administrator** Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) Administrator** responsible for planning, testing, deploying, and maintaining **OS and application patching** across enterprise environments. The role ensures systems are secure, compliant, and up to date while minimizing business disruption. Key Responsibilities Patch Management - Plan, schedule, and deploy **Windows OS patches** using **SCCM Software Updates**. - Manage **Monthly Patch Tuesday** deployments and out-of-band critical patches. - Perform **pre-deployment testing** and pilot rollouts. - Monitor patch deployment status, success rates, and failures. - Troubleshoot patch installation failures and remediation issues. - Generate compliance and deployment reports. SCCM Administration - Maintain and manage SCCM infrastructure (Primary Site, Site Server, MP, DP). - Configure and manage **Software Update Points (SUP)** integrated with WSUS. - Manage **collections**, maintenance windows, and deployment schedules. - Perform SCCM upgrades and hotfix installations. - Monitor SCCM health and logs (e.g., *WUAHandler.log*, *UpdatesDeployment.log*). Endpoint & Security Integration - Coordinate with **Security and Vulnerability teams** to meet compliance requirements. - Support patching for third-party applications (via MECM/SCUP or integrated tools). - Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards (ISO, SOC, CIS, etc.). Automation & Optimization - Automate patching activities using **PowerShell**. - Optimize deployment strategies to reduce network and user impact. - Maintain documentation, SOPs, and change records.
