"**Job Requirements** **Buyer - Indirect Materials** **Level: L2** **Job Details:** **-** Procurement planning of indirect materials (consumables and spares) and ensuring availability **-** PR (Purchase Requisition) management - Validation of spec. technical drawing, qty. etc. **-** Request for Quotation, validation and comparision **-** Commercial negotiation for price optimization, terms and conditions **-** Addressing quality issues and taking corrective and prevention action with the support of suppliers **-** Creation of Masters, PSR (Procurement Sanction Request) and PO (Purchase order) **-** Alternate Sourcing and Alternate material recommendations to bring the savings **-** Inventory control and management of indirect materials **-** Procurement budgeting and control activities **-** Establishing AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract), ARC (Annual Rate Contract) and renewals **-** Ontime deliveries by consistent and systematic supply followups **-** Procurement of welfare, Canteen items, printing and event mgmt services **-** Process compliance in line with the procurement guidelines **-** Actively participating in WCM initiatives and improve the existing system **-** Supporting ISO and other process audits **-** Process automations and IT initiatives **Qualification:** Any non-technical degree (or) Diploma In Mechanical Engg.
