**Role & responsibilities** Job Summary We are looking for a skilled **Data Engineer** with strong expertise in **Python, DBT, and SQL** to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data transformation workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain data pipelines using **Python** and **SQL**. - Design and implement data transformation models using **DBT (Data Build Tool)**. - Optimize complex SQL queries and ensure data quality and integrity. - Build scalable ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements. - Create and maintain data models, documentation, and testing frameworks. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments. - Monitor data workflows and improve pipeline performance. Required Skills - Strong experience with **Python** programming. - Hands-on expertise in **DBT** for data transformation and modeling. - Advanced knowledge of **SQL** and database concepts. - Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing. - Understanding of data modeling and data quality practices. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as **AWS, Azure, or GCP** is a plus. - Experience with orchestration tools like **Airflow** is an advantage. - Good problem-solving and communication skills.
