JD for Scrap Management and Commercial Disposal Executive Location – Kharkhoda Experience – 9 – 12 Years Education - Diploma in Mechanical Designation – AM/DM Job Responsibilities Management - - Identify, classify, and segregate scrap materials (e.g., metal, plastic, rubber, etc.). - Ensure proper storage of scrap to prevent contamination or hazards. Sales Coordination- - Identify potential buyers or vendors for scrap materials. - Negotiate pricing and terms with scrap buyers to maximize revenue. - Prepare and execute sales agreements or contracts. Compliance & Documentation- - Ensure adherence to environmental and legal regulations for scrap disposal. - Maintain detailed records of scrap generation, sales, and disposal processes. - Generate reports on scrap sales revenue and disposal activities for management review. Vendor Management- - Liaise with authorized scrap dealers and recyclers. - Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with company policies. Process Optimization- - Monitor and analyze scrap generation patterns to identify opportunities to reduce waste. - Work with production and operations teams to minimize scrap generation. Safety and Environment (HSE)- - Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous or non-hazardous scrap materials. - Implement environmentally sustainable scrap disposal practices. Inventory Control- - Keep track of scrap inventory levels and schedule timely disposals to avoid stockpiling. Cost Management- - Optimize scrap disposal processes to reduce costs and increase profitability. Stakeholder Collaboration- - Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, quality, and procurement) for scrap management. - Communicate with regulatory authorities, if required, for compliance purposes. Competencies / Skills - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Knowledge of scrap materials, recycling processes, and market trends. - Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations. - Proficiency in data management and reporting tools. - Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
