**Job Summary:** The IT Systems Engineer Senior serves as a servant leader and Agile coach, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver business value through modern delivery practices and a product-centric operating model. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and stakeholders to foster collaboration, drive continuous improvement, remove impediments, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. The position plays a critical role in orchestrating delivery across multiple teams, managing dependencies, improving delivery predictability, and supporting the adoption of Agile-at-scale practices. The successful candidate will help teams embrace agility, promote transparency, and align execution with business objectives while driving measurable outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** **Agile Leadership & Team Enablement** - Serve as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting Lean and Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement. - Coach team members, Product Managers, and stakeholders on modern delivery practices and product-centric operating models. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities. - Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. **Product Delivery & Execution** - Support Product Managers and teams in backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, and defining measurable business outcomes. - Establish and maintain team norms, working agreements, and definitions of done to ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance requirements, and quality expectations. - Monitor delivery metrics and team performance indicators to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. - Communicate team progress, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders and leadership. **Cross-Team Coordination & Dependency Management** - Orchestrate delivery across multiple product and engineering teams, ensuring alignment of priorities, schedules, and dependencies. - Identify, track, and manage cross-functional and cross-team dependencies. - Facilitate coordination across Product Managers, Engineering teams, and shared service functions to ensure successful delivery of interdependent initiatives. - Drive release alignment and execution planning across multiple delivery streams. **Risk Management & Continuous Improvement** - Proactively identify risks and issues that may impact delivery and facilitate mitigation planning. - Remove impediments or engage appropriate stakeholders to resolve blockers. - Drive adoption of Agile-at-scale practices and execution governance. - Establish delivery metrics and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into progress, value realization, and delivery predictability. **Qualifications** **Required** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. - 7–10 years of overall professional experience. - Experience working in Agile software development environments with multiple cross-functional teams. - Experience coordinating delivery across product, engineering, platform, or shared services teams. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Lean principles, and modern software delivery practices. - Experience managing dependencies, release planning, and execution across multiple teams. - Ability to work effectively within global delivery models and distributed teams. **Preferred Certifications** - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) - Professional Scrum Master (PSM) - SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or other Agile-at-scale certifications **Agile & Delivery Leadership** - Agile Coaching and Mentoring - Scrum and Agile Framework Facilitation - Lean Methodologies and Continuous Improvement - Product-Centric Operating Models - Agile-at-Scale Frameworks (SAFe, Scrum@Scale, etc.) **Collaboration & Communication** - Stakeholder Management - Cross-Functional Team Leadership - Conflict Resolution - Influencing and Driving Alignment - Effective Facilitation and Communication **Execution & Problem Solving** - Risk and Dependency Management - Release Planning and Coordination - Delivery Predictability and Performance Measurement - Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving - Decision Making in Ambiguous Environments **Customer & Business Focus** - Customer-Centric Mindset - Value Delivery and Outcome Orientation - Business Alignment and Value Realization - Building Trusted Partnerships **Preferred Experience** - Experience supporting Data Product or Data Platform organizations. - Understanding of data engineering concepts, data pipelines, APIs, data quality frameworks, analytics platforms, and AI/ML use cases. - Experience managing upstream and downstream data dependencies impacting product delivery. - Exposure to portfolio-level planning, release train coordination, and enterprise-scale Agile governance. - Experience working with global teams across onshore and offshore delivery models
