### Your day to day - Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, and hotel property. - Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and security equipment. - Conduct regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, parking, and back-of-house areas. - Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents, and security incidents. - Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate security records. - Investigate security-related incidents and recommend preventive measures. ### Compliance - Ensure compliance with IHG security standards, fire safety regulations, and local laws. - Conduct fire and emergency evacuation drills. - Inspect firefighting equipment and emergency exits regularly. - Support audits and maintain statutory security documentation. ### Guest Employee Support - Provide a safe and secure environment for all hotel occupants. - Handle lost and found procedures in accordance with hotel policies. - Assist guests during emergencies with professionalism and care. - Coordinate with local police, fire department, and emergency services when required. ### Operational Support - Supervise outsourced security personnel and ensure duty discipline. - Monitor contractor and visitor entry procedures. - Report maintenance or safety hazards immediately. - Participate in hotel emergency response and crisis management plans. ### What we need from you - Bachelors degree or Diploma in any discipline (preferred). - 2 4 years of experience in hotel security, hospitality, or a similar security environment. - Knowledge of CCTV operations, fire safety systems, and emergency response procedures. - Good understanding of local security regulations and health safety standards. - Strong observation, problem-solving, and incident management skills. - Good communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing. - Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays. - Certification in Fire Safety, First Aid, or Security Management is an added advantage.
