Security Management Engineer

Job description

- Patch analysis and release for both Wintel (~40% of the estate) and Linux-based patching (majority of the estate). - Experience in Wintel (Windows Server) patching and maintenance to ensure system stability and security. - Hands-on expertise in Linux patching across RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu environments. - Proficient in using AWS Inspector for vulnerability assessment and security insights. - Skilled in AWS Systems Manager (SSM), including Patch Manager and diagnostics capabilities. - Possesses basic knowledge of cloud operations across AWS and Azure platforms - Ability to perform patch analysis, impact assessment, and remediation planning effectively - Strong experience in release management and structured patch scheduling. - Good understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident Management for issue resolution. - Familiar with Change Management practices, including CAB approvals and risk handling. - Ensures compliance with audit requirements and maintains governance standards.
