**Job description** **Job Title** : Commercial strategy consultant: Semi-conductor & AI **Location:** Bengaluru, Hyderabad **Experience :** Senior Consultant (6–8 yrs) **Urgent hiring – candidates who can start immediately will be given priority” OR “Immediate joiners preferred.”** **Role** As a Sr. Consultant at Deloitte, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. The role involves working with global clients in semi-conductor space, guiding them in transformational projects, to shape market entry, growth strategies, and investment decisions in this rapidly evolving sector. **Key Responsibilities include** - **Conduct market & industry assessment:** Conduct market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) and analyze industry trends, regulatory landscape, competitive benchmarking, and emerging technologies in digital infrastructure (Semi-conductor/ DC/ AI). Develop commercial strategies aligned with evolving AI and compute demand - **Build robust financial models** : Including revenue projections, cost structures, profitability analysis, IRR, and NPV. Develop investment cases and feasibility studies for semiconductor fabs, packaging units, and AI infrastructure projects - **Define GTM strategy:** Identify early adopter segments, define customer segmentation, value propositions, pricing strategy, and channel models - **Develop market entry strategy:** Develop market entry frameworks for India and global markets. Analyze policy, incentives (PLI schemes), regulatory implications and advise on location strategy (fabs, data centers, assembly units) - **Value chain analysis** : Map the semiconductor value chain and conduct AI infrastructure stack analysis. Identify value pools, margin drivers, and strategic positioning opportunities - **Partner Identification:** Identify strategic partners across the ecosystem and support partnership evaluation, alliance structuring, and JV strategy. Build ecosystem maps for AI + semiconductor convergence - **Client Delivery & Stakeholder Management:** Work closely with CXO/ leadership, deliver high-impact reports, executive presentations, and dashboards **Skills & qualifications** - BE/ BTEC + MBA (Tier 1 institutions-preferred). MBA degree- Must - Good understanding of trends in AI infra, semiconductors, data centers, or cloud (preferred) - Basic knowledge of industry regulatory compliance, affecting semiconductor products (e.g., RoHS, REACH) - Executive‑ready communication and storytelling. Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies - Cross-functional team collaboration for interfacing with both business and IT teams
