**Hi All,** **Greeting for the day!** **Role & responsibilities** The Senior Accountant will be a vital operational partner within the International Accounting team, driving the day-to-day accuracy of international statutory reporting and executing seamless trial balance bridges between US GAAP and local GAAP. While technical compliance is the core of this role, you must be a tech-savvy self-starter capable of navigating the ambiguity of a fast-paced global environment. You will be expected to not only execute accounting operations but also to champion process improvements and draft the documentation needed to scale our global footprint. **The impact you will have:** - Architect and maintain trial balance bridges to ensure accurate reporting between US GAAP and various local GAAPs. - Drive the preparation of international statutory financial statements and coordinate the end-to-end audit deliverable process for various subsidiaries. - Assist with SOX requests and testing, maintaining audit-ready documentation that supports global group requirements. - Formalise and document the International Accounting function by preparing comprehensive SOPs for various workflows, ensuring consistency and scalability across regional teams. - Proactively support various process improvement projects, leveraging technology to reduce manual reconciliation and improve close speed. - Provide analytical and operational support for ad hoc jobs, such as acquisition integrations, or specialised financial analysis as required. - Execute monthly close activities for international subsidiaries, including complex journal entries and high-stakes balance sheet reconciliations. - Partner with Legal and Tax to implement accounting workflows for new international subsidiaries, ensuring Day 1 compliance. - Prepare and support local statutory audits and indirect tax compliance (VAT/GST) filings across multiple jurisdictions, flagging risks to leadership. **What we look for:** - Big 4/Top 10 audit experience preferred. - ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent with 3+ years post-qualification experience. - Deep experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/Local GAAPs) and a solid understanding of US GAAP. - Experience preparing audit deliverables and partnering with local accounting teams to file statutory accounts. - Proven ability to translate complex financial workflows into clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with SOX or similar internal control frameworks. - Proven ability to thrive in extremely fast-paced environments where tasks may be ambiguous and require independent problem-solving. - Advanced proficiency with cloud-based financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, FloQast, Zip) and an appetite for automating workflows.
