Senior Analyst (SAP Development)

Job description

**Key Skills:** CMDB, ODATA, OO ABAP, ALV, SAP ABAP, Reports, Smart Forms **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with functional analysts and solution architects to produce technical design documents (TDDs) aligned to business and system requirements. - Develop complex SAP ABAP solutions using OO ABAP and RICEFW object types, ensuring code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable. - Perform peer code reviews, enforce development standards and transport discipline, and support governance across the development team. - Design and implement SAP integration and interfaces using OData services and SAP integration patterns (e.g., RFC/ALE/IDoc) to enable reliable end-to-end data exchange. - Conduct performance tuning and root cause analysis using tools such as SQL Trace (ST05) and ABAP Runtime Analysis (SE30), and support unit testing through SIT/UAT. **Skills Required:** - 6 - 9 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience - SAP ABAP development with OO ABAP best practices - OData services (SAP Gateway/SEGW) and OData integration experience - ALV development for reporting and data presentation - CMDB familiarity for application/landscape tracking and operational support Good to Have: - ABAP Reports development - Smart Forms **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
