Senior Ansible Engineer

**Educational Requirements** Bachelor of Engineering,Bachelor Of Technology **Service Line** Cloud Infrastructure Services **Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for infrastructure automation - Automate provisioning, configuration management, patching, and deployment activities - Work with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) / Tower for job orchestration - Integrate Ansible with tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines - Design reusable and scalable automation frameworks - Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of automation workflows - Ensure best practices such as idempotency, error handling, tagging, and version control - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities - Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer sessions **Additional Responsibilities:** - Strong hands-on experience with Ansible - Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration - Experience with YAML, Jinja2 templating, and Git - Understanding of REST APIs and integrations - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) - Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Bash/PowerShell) **Technical and Professional Requirements:** - Ansible Collections - AWX / Ansible Tower (AAP) - CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) - Vault Tools (Ansible Vault, HashiCorp Vault) - Cloud Platform Modules Automate AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Kubernetes resources. **Preferred Skills:** - Technology->Infrastructure-Transformation->Automation and Provisioning Tools - Technology->Open System->Shell scripting - Technology->Open System->Linux - Technology->Devops->Ansible
