Your role is of key importance, as it lays down the foundation for the entire project. **Title: Senior Application Developer (.NET & C++)** **Location: Chennai/ Hyderabad** **Position type: Fulltime** **Experience: 6-8 yrs** **Required Skills (Must have) :** - Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C++, Visual Basic - Strong MS SQL development and optimization skills - Experience in building and supporting enterprise-grade applications - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities **Good to have:** - Experience in BFSI domain applications - Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow). - Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and high availability concepts. - Experience with Agile / DevOps delivery models for mainframe ecosystems. - Knowledge of system integration and APIs - Exposure to performance tuning **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and support .NET, Visual Basic and C++ applications - Work on database design and optimization - Ensure application reliability and performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Perform unit testing, regression testing, and support UAT and production releases. - Maintain and update technical documentation, program specs, and operational runbooks. - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Track and manage user stories, test cases, and defects using Jira. Generate test reports and metrics to communicate test progress and quality status. - Work closely with business analysts, testing teams, infrastructure teams, and release management during change and release cycles. - Participate in DR drills, audits, and compliance reviews. - Proactively identify opportunities for automation, performance tuning, and support optimization. **TCS Eligibility Criteria:** - \\*BE/B.tech/MCA/M.Sc./MS with minimum 6 years of relevant IT-experience post Qualification. - \\*Only Full-Time courses would be considered. - \\*Candidates who have attended TCS interview within 1 month need not apply. *Referrals are always welcome!!!*
