The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in **Linux administration**, **middleware support**, **Apache**, **Tomcat**, **AWS**, **SQL**, **Vertica**, **AWS EMR**, **AWS EKS**, **DevOps automation**, and **production operations**. **Key Technologies / Required Skills** Operating Systems: **Linux**, **Windows Server** Web / Middleware Platforms: **Apache**, **Tomcat**, **IIS**, **RabbitMQ**, **NGINX**, **HAProxy** Cloud Platforms: **AWS**, **AWS EC2**, **AWS S3**, **AWS RDS**, **AWS EMR**, **AWS EKS**, **CloudWatch**, **IAM**, **CloudFront**, **WAF** Database / Data Platforms: **SQL Server**, **SQL**, **Vertica**, **data loading pipelines**, **database connectivity support** DevOps / Automation: **Terraform**, **Ansible**, **Jenkins**, **Python**, **Shell scripting**, **PowerShell** Containers / Orchestration: **Kubernetes**, **Docker**, **AWS EKS** Monitoring / Observability: **Datadog**, **CloudWatch**, **Grafana** IT Operations: **Incident Management**, **Change Management**, **RCA**, **ServiceNow**, **Jira**, **Confluence** Security / Compliance: **SSL certificates**, **PAM/service accounts**, **access controls**, **vulnerability remediation** **Key Responsibilities** - Support enterprise applications running across **on-premises** and **AWS cloud environments**. - Administer and troubleshoot **Apache**, **Tomcat**, **IIS**, **RabbitMQ**, and related middleware platforms. - Support **Linux** and **Windows** application infrastructure. - Perform **application deployments**, **upgrades**, **patching**, **configuration changes**, and **post-deployment validation**. - Troubleshoot production issues related to **application performance**, **SSL/certificates**, **database connectivity**, **CPU/memory utilization**, **service failures**, and **data processing delays**. - Work with DBA and infrastructure teams on **SQL Server**, **SQL**, **Vertica**, **AWS EMR**, and **data loading** related issues. - Support AWS services including **EC2**, **S3**, **RDS**, **EMR**, **EKS**, **CloudWatch**, **IAM**, **CloudFront**, and **WAF**. - Build and maintain automation using **Jenkins**, **Ansible**, **Terraform**, **Python**, **Shell scripting**, and **PowerShell**. - Monitor application and infrastructure health using **Datadog**, **CloudWatch**, and **Grafana**. - Participate in **incident management**, **change management**, **RCA**, **documentation**, and **operational improvement** activities. **Minimum Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience in **application infrastructure**, **middleware**, **Linux/Windows administration**, **cloud operations**, **DevOps**, or **SRE support**. - Strong hands-on experience with **Linux administration**, **scripting**, **troubleshooting**, and **automation**. - Proven experience in **Apache** and **Tomcat administration**. - Experience supporting **production applications** in **hybrid environments**. - Working knowledge of **AWS cloud services**. - Strong **troubleshooting**, **communication**, and **coordination** skills. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience with **AWS**, **AWS EMR**, **AWS EKS**, **Kubernetes**, **Terraform**, **Ansible**, **Jenkins**, **SQL Server**, **SQL**, **Vertica**, **Datadog**, **CloudWatch**, **Apache**, **Tomcat**, **IIS**, and **RabbitMQ**. - Experience troubleshooting **application performance**, **SSL/certificate issues**, **network connectivity**, **database connectivity**, and **data-processing issues**. - Knowledge of security and compliance practices including **certificate renewals**, **PAM/service account onboarding**, **access controls**, and **vulnerability remediation**. - Experience with **ServiceNow**, **Jira**, **Confluence**, and **ITIL-based operational processes**. - Strong focus on **documentation**, **automation**, **operational excellence**, and **continuous improvement**. **Minimum Qualifications:** • 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
