We are recruiting for the Senior Associate position in the Canada Tax for Enterprise Tax team with subject matter expertise in Mutual fund accounting \& PFIC. Working as Senior Associate in this team, your responsibilities will include: · Work closely with the Partners and other client service team members in designing ownership and governance structures for private company clients. · Build and develop estate plans, incorporating tax and financial knowledge as well as an understanding of the client's objectives. · Leverage knowledge of tax legislation to design strategies for transition and succession. · Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff. · Work with other office members in attracting new work to the firm. This role is for you if you have the below Educational qualifications • Minimum Master Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance Work Experience • Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably from Financial Services and/ Fund accounting Mandatory technical \& functional skills • Good accounting skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e., Excel). Preferred technical \& functional skills • Strong analytical and advisory skills. • Able to work in fast moving and demanding environment. • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (including strong presentation skills). • Able to adapt quickly to use new technologies. • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and to work proactively with minimal instruction. • Prioritization and time management skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
