**Job Description Senior Automation Engineer (Modernization Quality Engineering)** Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on **Senior Automation Engineer** to support the modernization of a legacy product into a cloud-native architecture using **Go, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices** . The role focuses on enabling quality through automation across UI, API, performance testing, and AI-assisted development practices. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Develop and maintain automated test suites for React applications and Go-based microservices. - Automate API validation, contract testing, and service integration testing. - Build and execute performance and load testing strategies for distributed systems. - Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. - Support validation of legacy functionality during modernization and migration efforts. - Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to establish quality engineering best practices. - Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development and testing activities. Required Skills - Strong experience in **Test Automation and Quality Engineering** . - Proficiency in one or more programming languages: **Go** , **Python** , or **JavaScript/TypeScript** . - Experience with **Playwright** (preferred), **Cypress** , or **Selenium** . - Strong API testing experience using **Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI** . - Hands-on experience with **Load and Performance Testing** tools such as **JMeter** or similar tools. - Experience with **Docker** , **Kubernetes** , and **microservices** architectures. - Good knowledge of **PostgreSQL** and database validation/testing. - Experience with **GitHub Actions** . - Proficiency with **Git/GitHub** .
