Job Description Senior Automation Engineer (Modernization Quality Engineering) Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Senior Automation Engineer to support the modernization of a legacy product into a cloud-native architecture using Go, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices . The role focuses on enabling quality through automation across UI, API, performance testing, and AI-assisted development practices. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Develop and maintain automated test suites for React applications and Go-based microservices. • Automate API validation, contract testing, and service integration testing. • Build and execute performance and load testing strategies for distributed systems. • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. • Support validation of legacy functionality during modernization and migration efforts. • Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to establish quality engineering best practices. • Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development and testing activities. Required Skills • Strong experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering . • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Go , Python , or JavaScript/TypeScript . • Experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress , or Selenium . • Strong API testing experience using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI . • Hands-on experience with Load and Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or similar tools. • Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and microservices architectures. • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and database validation/testing. • Experience with GitHub Actions . • Proficiency with Git/GitHub .
