**Senior AWS DevOps Engineer** **Location:** Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai **Experience:** 8+ Years **Job Summary** We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior AWS DevOps Engineer** with strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, cloud security, observability, and platform engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and operating scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS. - Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. - Manage containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes (EKS). - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. - Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or ELK. - Ensure cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization. - Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root cause analysis and remediation. - Automate operational processes using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages. **Required Skills** - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route53, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch. - Expertise in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git-based workflows. - Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, security, and DevSecOps practices. - Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and high-availability architectures. - Knowledge of SLI/SLO/SLA management, reliability engineering, and cloud governance. - Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub. **Preferred Skills** - AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect/SysOps). - Experience with Platform Engineering, Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), Istio, Linkerd, or Kafka. - Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimization tools such as Cloudability. **Key Attributes** - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Customer-focused with a passion for operational excellence. - Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
