Senior Backend Engineer/ Lead (NodeJs/ NestJS)

**Job Description: Node.js / NestJS Developer with AWS (ECS/EKS)** **Experience:** 8-12 Years **Job Summary** We are looking for a highly skilled **Node.js/NestJS Developer** with strong experience in **AWS cloud services**, containerization, and using **Amazon ECS/EKS**. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices-based applications while ensuring high availability, security, and performance. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using **Node.js/ NestJS** - Build and manage **RESTful APIs** and microservices architectures. - Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on **AWS ECS and EKS (Kubernetes)**. - Develop CI/CD pipelines using **Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline**. - Work with containerization technologies such as **Docker** and orchestration platforms like **Kubernetes**. - Implement security best practices, monitoring, logging, and observability. - Integrate applications with AWS services such as: - Lambda - API Gateway - S3 - RDS - DynamoDB - CloudWatch - IAM - SNS/SQS - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams. - Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance. - Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices. **Required Skills** **Backend Development** - Strong experience in **Node.js** and **NestJS Framework**. - Good to have exp in **TypeScript** and JavaScript (ES6+). - Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket implementations. - Knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect). **Cloud & DevOps** - Hands-on experience with **AWS ECS and/or EKS** deployments. - Strong knowledge of **Docker, Kubernetes**, and container orchestration. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code using **Terraform or CloudFormation**. - Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, Load Balancers, Security Groups, and Route53. **Database** - Experience with **PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB**, or similar databases. - Database performance tuning and optimization experience. **Monitoring & Security** - Experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar monitoring tools. - Understanding of AWS security best practices and IAM policies. **Preferred Qualifications** - AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. - Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Message Queues (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Knowledge of Serverless architecture on AWS. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience in high-scale distributed systems. **Nice to Have** - Experience with microservices migration. - Knowledge of FinTech, E-commerce, Healthcare, or SaaS platforms. - Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure/GCP).
