Job Summary Location: Bangalore, KA, IN Could you be the full-time Senior Bid Manager in Bangalore were looking for Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and strategic expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and goal-oriented teammates. Youll play a critical role in delivering winning proposals that align with customer needs and organizational goals. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Tender team, involved units, platform, metiers, and support functions such as financing, tax, legal, and tender support control), ensure compliance with internal processes, and manage the tender QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments, among other responsibilities. Youll specifically take care of preparing technical documentation, managing risks, and optimizing QCD, but also contribute to contract negotiations and ensure traceability of tender-related documentation. Responsibilities - Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, including ethics, EHS, railway safety, quality, and PMM standards - Collaborating with the Tender Leader to build schedules and prepare offers - Preparing and issuing Invitations for Quotation (IFQs) - Developing technical descriptions, project master schedules, and clause-by-clause responses - Defining and aligning the offered solution with customer requirements and internal strategy - Managing QCD optimization and obtaining commitments from stakeholders - Organizing risk reviews and maintaining risk and ambition registers - Keeping and classifying all tender-related documentation - Participating in contract negotiations and ensuring feasibility of evolutions - Managing the budget for tender preparation costs - Contributing to continuous improvement through win-loss analysis All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, weve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: - Degree in engineering, business management, or a related field - Experience or understanding of project management and tender processes - Knowledge of offered products, systems, and costing practices - Familiarity with risk management and planning tools - A project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus - Strong communication and reporting capabilities - Ability to collaborate effectively and stimulate efficient team working - Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge proposals and drive optimal solutions - Understanding of Alstom processes is an advantage
