Job Description: **Location:** Bangalore (Whitefield) - At least 4 days WFO at Client ODC **Job Description: Senior Data Consultant Supply Chain (BA + DA)** **Overview** We are seeking a **Senior Data Consultant** with strong expertise in **Business Analysis and Data Analytics** to drive supply chain transformation initiatives. This role requires a professional who can bridge business requirements with advanced data solutions, lead delivery across crossfunctional teams, and ensure measurable impact on manufacturing, operations, and inventory workflows. **Responsibilities:** **Data Analyst – Supply Chain Domain** **Role Overview** We are seeking a **Data Analyst** with strong technical expertise in **Python and SQL** and proven experience in the **Supply Chain / Manufacturing domain**. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, data modeling, and visualization to optimize supply chain operations, improve inventory management, and support data-driven decision-making. Exposure to **Business Analysis** and emerging technologies such as **GenAI** is preferred. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain **Python scripts and SQL queries** for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across supply chain datasets. - Build and optimize **data pipelines** integrating ERP, inventory, logistics, and manufacturing systems. - Perform **root cause analysis** on operational inefficiencies, production workflows, and inventory discrepancies. - Design and deliver **interactive dashboards** (Power BI/Tableau) to monitor KPIs such as WIP, BOM, lead times, stockouts, and demand forecasts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, operations, finance, IT) to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. - Support **business analysis activities** including requirement gathering, BRDs/FRDs, process mapping, and stakeholder communication. - Apply **predictive analytics and statistical modeling** to improve demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory optimization. - Explore and apply **GenAI tools** (preferred) to automate reporting, enhance workflows, and generate actionable insights. **Required Skills & Experience** - **Mandatory:** - Strong hands-on expertise in **Python** (data wrangling, statistical analysis, ML libraries preferred). - Strong hands-on expertise in **SQL** (joins, window functions, optimization, ETL). - Proven **Supply Chain / Manufacturing domain experience** (inventory management, procurement, production workflows, logistics). - **Preferred:** - Experience with **BI tools** (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel. - Exposure to **GenAI / AI-driven analytics**. - Business Analysis skills (requirement gathering, stakeholder management, documentation). - Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, etc.). **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred. - Certifications in **Data Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, or BI tools** are a plus. **Ideal Candidate Profile** - A **techno-functional analyst** who combines strong **Python + SQL technical skills** with **supply chain domain expertise**. - Comfortable working with large datasets and translating insights into operational improvements. - Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across global teams and present findings to stakeholders. - Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to apply **emerging technologies (GenAI, advanced analytics)** to supply chain challenges.
