The firm plays a crucial role in shaping the future of computing and digital imaging through its commitment to research and development. **Requirements** - Possessing 5-8 years of progressive experience in software quality assurance automation, specifically focusing on C# and .NET technologies within an enterprise environment, is essential for this role. - This position requires a full-time commitment to working on-site at our Bangalore facility, fostering direct collaboration and team integration within the office environment. **Required Skills:** - Demonstrated proficiency in C# programming, including object-oriented design principles and advanced language features, is essential for developing robust automation solutions. - Strong working knowledge and practical experience with the .NET framework or .NET Core, enabling the development and maintenance of scalable test infrastructure. - Advanced expertise in Python scripting for test automation, data analysis, and integration with various testing tools and platforms is a critical requirement. - Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex QA automation frameworks and strategies across the software development lifecycle. - Extensive experience and advanced skills in conducting comprehensive performance, load, and stress testing to ensure application scalability and responsiveness. - Solid understanding and practical experience with testing desktop applications, including UI automation and backend service validation. - Demonstrated intermediate understanding and practical application of Artificial Intelligence concepts, particularly in enhancing test automation and predictive analytics. - PowerShell Scripting: Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is required, as several scripts are used to collect results and generate reports. Occasionally, scripts may need to be updated when requirements change. - C# with Reqnroll Framework: Knowledge of C# with the Reqnroll framework is required to analyze and fix failures in existing automated tests. - Python: Basic knowledge of Python is required, as some scripts are used to collect results from Azure pipelines. - Manual Testing: Manual testing skills are required to understand the desktop application and to automate related test cases.” **Preferred Skills:** - Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and tools, such as SpecFlow or Cucumber, would be advantageous for collaborative test definition. Job responsibilities - Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test frameworks and solutions using C# and .NET. - Lead the implementation of comprehensive test strategies for desktop applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery. - Contribute to the architectural design of automation solutions, integrating best practices for performance and reliability. - Mentor junior AQA engineers on advanced automation techniques, C# best practices, and performance testing methodologies. - Conduct in-depth performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimize application responsiveness. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for end-to-end, integration, and regression testing across various application layers. - Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, promoting a shift-left testing approach. - Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies, particularly those related to AI-driven testing and advanced automation. - Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective test plans and test cases. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test processes, tools, and overall quality assurance practices. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within the application and automation framework, providing timely resolutions. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and quality metrics within the automation codebase. - Participate in code reviews for automation scripts and application code to maintain high quality and consistency. - Research and apply AI/ML concepts to enhance test automation capabilities and predictive defect identification.
