The Group is committed to inclusive development via the GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, which supports education, skills, and healthcare in communities around its projects. **Role Description** The Senior Civil Engineer will lead to monitoring & execution of civil works & MEP for infrastructure and airport-related projects inGMR AIRPORT DEVELOPER LIMITED in India. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing civil engineering designs and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants, preparing technical reports and drawings, and providing guidance with site teams. The Senior Civil Engineer will monitor project progress, address technical issues on-site, and support cost and schedule control to meet project milestones. This is a full-time, on-site **Qualifications** - Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, with experience in infrastructure or airport projects. - Planning and project coordination skills for managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations. - Stormwater Management expertise, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and related hydrology/hydraulics. - Ability to lead and collaborate with Civil Engineers and multidisciplinary technical teams. - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. - Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, structural or hydrology tools). - Strong understanding of Indian and international engineering codes, standards, and quality practices. - Demonstrated experience in site supervision, construction management, and contractor coordination. - Effective communication skills for technical documentation, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. - Prior experience in airport, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage. - Site Supervisor — Goa Manohar International Airport, Terminal infrastructure and finishes — 2+ years - Supervised civil and finishes works across terminal expansion; coordinated subcontractors, materials, and QA for structural and interior finishes. - Monitored schedule, safety compliance, and quality inspections; prepared progress reports and handover documentation. - Construction Coordinator — Hyderabad International Airport, VIP Lounges — 1+ year - Managed construction of VIP lounges including finishes, MEP coordination, and client liaison; ensured timely delivery to airport standards. - Handled vendor management, site permits, and punch-list closure. - Site Monitor — ONGC Convention Hall (Goa), 5,000+ seating — 3 months - Supported execution and monitoring of large-capacity convention hall seating and finishes; ensured compliance with seating layout and safety norms. - Site Engineer (Duty Free) — Rajahmundry/Bogapuram Airport Duty Free Project — 4 months - Executed duty-free fit-out works including carpentry, display fixtures, and coordination with airport authorities for access and inspections.
