**Role & responsibilities** Job Description GCP DevOps Engineer with Python **Company:** Coforge **Location:** Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore **Experience:** 6 to 10 Years **Employment Type:** Full-Time Role Overview Coforge is seeking a highly skilled **GCP DevOps Engineer** with strong expertise in **Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation, and Cloud Operations**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**. - Develop and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build. - Automate infrastructure provisioning using **Terraform** and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. - Develop automation scripts and tools using **Python**. - Manage containerized applications using **Docker** and **Kubernetes (GKE)**. - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc. - Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment and release processes. - Ensure cloud security, compliance, and best practices. - Troubleshoot production issues and optimize cloud infrastructure performance. - Support high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
