Senior Consultant (C1)

Job description

Job Description: Senior Consultants are expected to learn and apply the skills across various client industry verticals (banking, insurance, healthcare, travel, transport, logistics, retail and media, utilities, business and financial research) to: • Solve business problems, using artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data engineering and various other advanced analytics methods • Generate insights for decision making in functional areas (e.g. marketing, pricing, risk, fraud, etc.) using data science, statistical and business intelligence tools (such as SAS, SQL, R, Python and Tableau, Power BI etc), Responsibilities: Identifying key problem areas and improvement opportunities to drive value for clients • Structuring business problems, developing hypothesis and formulating problem solving approach • Contributing to company’s intellectual property via efforts including but not limited to statistical R&D, white papers, development of innovative and advanced modeling methodologies such as in the field of AI and deep learning, frameworks for analytical products and solutions, and advanced statistical training material and other hyper-automation tools and technologies • Devising innovative and actionable strategic solutions for complex business problems • Own and deliver work on all assigned tasks using appropriate tools and technologies • Learn and adapt to coding tools and scripting languages, as required for the respective client project allocated, e.g. SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI and others • Presenting the results and recommendations to internal team and clients • Participating with the client in the implementation process Qualifications: Desired Candidate profile Technical Skills • Strong academic performance • Must possess superior analytical and quantitative skills • Online certification or knowledge on popular analytics tools (Python, R, SAS, SQL, Power BI) is a good to have skill • Understanding Agile or waterfall development lifecycle and development on RPA platforms/ workflow tools is a preference • Ability to structure constructs directed to solving business problems • Desire to leverage technical competence to solve business problems in an information rich environment Soft skills • Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, including data analysis and validation • Capable of delivering accurate output and over time with minimal supervision • Exhibit an outstanding ability to communicate • Have the willingness to take initiative required of Decision Analytics member
