Learn more about ET&P **Your work profile** We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, customizing, and integrating D365 F&O solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong X++ development expertise, integration experience with Azure services, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions across implementation, enhancement, and support projects. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and implement customizations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using X++ and Microsoft recommended extension framework. - Develop custom forms, tables, classes, reports, workflows, batch jobs, services, and business logic. - Design and develop integrations between D365 F&O and external systems using: - OData - Custom Services - Data Management Framework (DMF) - Electronic Reporting (ER) - Business Events - Dual-write - Dataverse - REST/SOAP APIs - Azure Logic Apps - Azure Functions - Azure Service Bus - Azure Storage Queues - Develop SSRS reports, Electronic Reporting (ER) reports, and document customizations. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to customizations, integrations, and system performance. - Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and provide technical solution designs. - Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDDs), deployment documents, and technical specifications. - Participate in data migration, deployment, cutover, and production support activities. - Perform unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Work with Azure DevOps for source control, work item tracking, build, release management, and CI/CD pipelines. - Support application upgrades, One Version updates, and environment management activities. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project team members. **Key skills required** - 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical development. - Strong hands-on experience in: - X++ Development - Extensions and Chain of Command (CoC) - Form customizations - Table extensions - Classes - Batch Framework - Workflow development - SSRS reporting - Electronic Reporting (ER) - Strong experience in integration technologies including: - OData - Custom Services - REST APIs - SOAP Services - Business Events - Dual-write - Dataverse - Azure Integration Services - Experience with Azure services such as: - Azure Logic Apps - Azure Functions - Azure Service Bus - Azure Storage - Azure Key Vault - Experience using Azure DevOps, Git repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. - Good understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O architecture and extensibility framework. - Knowledge of SQL Server, query optimization, and performance tuning. - Experience in debugging and resolving production issues. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in at least two end-to-end Dynamics 365 F&O implementation projects. - Experience working on support and enhancement projects. - Knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI integrations. - Familiarity with Lifecycle Services (LCS), environment management, and deployment processes. - Exposure to ISV solutions and third-party integrations. - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certifications are preferred. **Educational Qualification** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. **Key Competencies** - X++ Development - Technical Solution Design - Dynamics 365 F&O Customization - Integration Development - Azure Integration Services - Performance Optimization - Technical Documentation - CI/CD and Azure DevOps - Code Review and Quality Assurance - Debugging and Troubleshooting - Team Collaboration - Client Communication
