The insights and quality services we deliver help build trust and confidence in the capital markets and in economies the world over. **Your key responsibilities** **Technical Excellence** * Job Description - Senior Consultant - Forensic Investigations \& eDiscovery Location Bengaluru Service Line EY Forensic \& Integrity Services Position Summary EY is seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant - Forensic Investigations \& eDiscovery to support complex investigations, fraud reviews, regulatory matters, and document review engagements. The individual will work closely with Managers, Senior Managers, legal counsel, compliance teams, and client stakeholders to execute investigations, analyse evidence, manage document reviews, and deliver high-quality investigative insights. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of forensic investigations, fraud risk management, forensic accounting, and document review methodologies. Prior experience in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Intella is highly desirable. The role requires hands-on involvement in managing and performing document reviews, analysing financial and electronic evidence, and supporting client-facing investigations. Key Responsibilities Investigations \& Forensic Accounting Support and execute investigations involving: Employee misconduct Procurement fraud Vendor collusion Bribery and corruption Conflict of interest Payroll fraud Asset misappropriation Financial irregularities Conduct forensic accounting reviews and transaction testing. Analyse financial records, accounting entries, contracts, invoices, and supporting documentation. Identify red flags, control failures, and misconduct indicators. Assist in preparing investigation reports and executive summaries. eDiscovery \& Document Review Conduct document review and email review for investigations, litigation support, regulatory matters, and compliance reviews. Perform first-level and second-level review of electronic documents. Identify relevant, responsive, and potentially privileged documents. Execute review protocols and coding guidelines. Prepare review summaries and issue chronologies. Support review managers in tracking reviewer productivity and quality metrics. Assist in fact development through review of emails, chats, financial records, and business documents. Participate in large-scale managed review projects involving multiple custodians and complex data sets. Forensic Technology Use forensic technology platforms for review and analysis of electronic evidence. Conduct keyword searches, communication analysis, email threading, and issue-based document review. Support investigative workflows using technology-enabled review processes. Fraud Risk \& Controls Support fraud risk assessments and anti-fraud control reviews. Review business processes including: Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Revenue Finance \& Accounting HR \& Payroll Treasury and Payments Identify process gaps and assist in developing remediation recommendations. Client Delivery Work directly with engagement managers to deliver projects on time and within budget. Participate in client meetings, interviews, and evidence review sessions. Prepare high-quality workpapers, analyses, and client deliverables. Support proposal development and practice development initiatives when required. Mandatory Qualification Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory. The reference profile demonstrates strong CA-led forensic and audit experience. Additional certifications such as CFE, CISA, ACAMS, or equivalent would be an advantage.
