Learn more about ET\&P **Your work profile** The Senior SAP PM Consultant will lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (Enterprise Asset Management) solutions. The consultant will collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, warehouse, procurement, production, and finance teams to optimize asset lifecycle management, preventive and corrective maintenance, maintenance planning, reliability, and operational efficiency while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.A Senior SAP PM Consultant is expected to lead the transformation of enterprise asset management and maintenance processes by leveraging SAP S/4HANA best practices. The role is responsible for delivering scalable, integrated, and business-focused maintenance solutions that improve asset reliability, optimize maintenance planning, reduce equipment downtime, and enhance operational efficiency. The consultant is expected to ensure seamless integration with procurement, inventory, production, quality, finance, and project systems while driving successful project delivery from requirements gathering through Go-Live, Hypercare, and knowledge transfer. **Key skills required** * **6--8 years** of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) consulting experience. * Minimum **4--6 years** of SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration experience. * Experience in **2--3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, Greenfield, Brownfield, or Bluefield projects**. * Experience in Manufacturing, Utilities, Oil \& Gas, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Mining, Engineering, Infrastructure, or Asset-Intensive industries is preferred. **Business Process Consulting** * Conduct business process workshops and requirement gathering sessions. * Analyze current maintenance and asset management processes. * Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications. * Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) best practices. * Advise clients on maintenance optimization, asset reliability, and digital maintenance transformation. **Solution Design** * Design end-to-end maintenance and asset management processes. * Prepare Solution Design Documents (SDD). * Configure SAP PM based on business requirements. * Design preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance processes. * Recommend standard SAP functionality while minimizing custom developments. **SAP PM Configuration** Configure and support the following processes: **Enterprise Asset Structure** * Functional Locations * Equipment Master * Bills of Material (Equipment/Functional Location BOM) * Measuring Points and Counters * Classification and Characteristics * Maintenance Planner Groups * Asset Hierarchies **Maintenance Planning** * Maintenance Plans * Maintenance Items * Strategy Plans * Single Cycle Plans * Multiple Counter Plans * Performance-Based Maintenance * Time-Based Maintenance * Maintenance Scheduling **Maintenance Execution** * Maintenance Notifications * Maintenance Orders * Breakdown Maintenance * Preventive Maintenance * Corrective Maintenance * Refurbishment Orders * Calibration Processes * Work Clearance Management (where applicable) **Work Management** * Task Lists * Operations * Capacity Planning * Resource Scheduling * Permit Management * Work Approval Processes * Confirmation Processing **Technical Object Management** * Equipment Installation and Dismantling * Serial Number Management * Warranty Management * Measurement Documents * Asset History Tracking **Data Migration Responsibilities** * Support migration of maintenance master and transactional data. * Validate functional locations, equipment, task lists, maintenance plans, notifications, and work orders. * Support SAP Migration Cockpit activities. * Perform reconciliation between legacy systems and SAP S/4HANA. * Participate in mock migrations and cutover validation. **Testing Responsibilities** * Prepare Unit Test Scripts. * Execute Unit Testing. * Support System Integration Testing (SIT). * Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). * Validate end-to-end maintenance scenarios. * Coordinate defect analysis and resolution. * Verify integration with procurement, warehouse, finance, production, and quality processes. **Implementation Activities** * Conduct Fit-Gap workshops. * Configure SAP PM. * Prepare Functional Specifications for RICEFW developments. * Coordinate with ABAP developers. * Support interface development and testing. * Deliver end-user training. * Prepare cutover plans. * Support Go-Live and Hypercare activities. **Functional Knowledge** * Asset Lifecycle Management * Preventive Maintenance * Corrective Maintenance * Breakdown Maintenance * Reliability-Centered Maintenance * Work Order Management * Maintenance Planning \& Scheduling * Calibration Management * Resource Planning * Asset Performance Monitoring **Key Deliverables** * Business Requirement Documents (BRD) * Fit-Gap Analysis * Solution Design Documents (SDD) * Configuration Documents * Functional Specifications * RICEFW Specifications * Asset Master Data Templates * Test Scripts and Defect Logs * Maintenance Planning Documents * Training Materials * Cutover Plan * Go-Live Readiness Checklist * Hypercare Support Docu
