The Senior Credit Manager will evaluate and approve credit proposals, assess borrower profiles, and analyze financial statements to determine creditworthiness. The role includes monitoring existing credit portfolios, identifying early warning signals, and recommending risk mitigation measures. The individual will collaborate with sales, operations, and risk teams to design appropriate credit structures and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The Senior Credit Manager will also contribute to credit process improvements, prepare periodic reports and presentations, and provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members. **Qualifications** - Strong foundation in Credit Management and Credit, with experience in appraising and structuring credit facilities. - Demonstrated expertise in Credit Risk Management, including portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, and policy compliance. - Advanced Analytical Skills and solid understanding of Finance, including financial statement analysis, cash flow evaluation, and ratio analysis. - Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field. - Prior experience in a banking, NBFC, or financial services credit role, preferably at a senior or team-lead level. - Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions. - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and familiarity with applicable regulatory and compliance frameworks.
